Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Microtransactions in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled are summarized as...

The game initially launched without microtransactions, only for them to sneak them in only a month later. Was this an attempt at increasing the longevity of the game, or was it an insidious attempt at getting better reviews? Who knows, but what we do know is that they promised the game would be free of microtransactions and all future updates would be free. That was clearly not the truth.

The currency used to buy cosmetics can be bought with real money, but can also be earned by just playing the game. This means you can technically buy everything the game has without spending real money (other than the initial game purchase). In reality that would be a massive grind, but at least it's possible.
