The game features a Deluxe edition which offers you more playable characters. But these come in the form of a season-pass like system. Not all characters are available from the start, instead they will be gradually staggered over the course of roughly a month.

These additional characters are also available as separate DLC packs grouped by their respective movie or series. For example there is a Solo and a Mandalorian Character pack, each featuring 5-6 playable characters.

The deluxe edition is available as a separate DLC but purchasing it together with the main game is significantly cheaper.
