DOOM: The Dark Ages

This game is not yet released and not all details are known.

Microtransactions in DOOM: The Dark Ages are summarized as...

The game can be purchased as a standard edition (roughly 80 USD) or a "premium" edition. The premium edition sells for an additional 30 USD (totaling roughly 110 USD) and includes character cosmetics, a digital artbook and soundtrack, and upcoming story DLC. The contents of the DLC are not yet known.

Pre-purchasing any edition of the game will grant you additional cosmetic content in the form of a player character skin. Pre-purchasing the premium edition will grant up to 2-day early access.

The base game is priced much higher than previous entries in the series, as well as higher than many other games in the same price bracket. The previous game, DOOM: Eternal, was launched with a price of roughly 50 USD, compared to this game's 80 USD launch price. As the game has not yet launched, it's tough the evaluate if the increased price is justified.
Games in similar price brackets tend to be priced at 60 USD or, perhaps more commonly, 70 USD. Large studios are slowly pushing towards 80 USD or more, with this game being another example of that.

Any future content besides one DLC is not yet known, but there are plans. In an interview they said "We do have a DLC and things like that...". Previously entries in the series have increased monetization over time, largely consisting of cosmetic packs. It is not known if these will return.
