Battlefield 2042

Microtransactions in Battlefield 2042 are summarized as...

The game follows a live service model. This will include multiple limited time Battle Passes and other premium content. The details of which are not yet released and they will not be available until months after release. You can already buy them at launch even though nothing about them is known.

In order to gain "early access" to the game, meaning you get to play 7 days early, you need to purchase the "deluxe" edition which costs over 50% more. This will also give you the "Year 1 Pass", the details of what that might be are still unknown.
To call it early access is misleading, as it's more like a fast lane pass, rather than some sort of beta.

There is a more expensive version of the game on top of the deluxe edition that costs almost double the original price. This unlocks unique cosmetics as well as a digital artbook and soundtrack.

There are no direct microtransactions present at launch. Most cosmetics can be earned through in-game play. Presumably other cosmetics will be available through the various Battle Passes.

There are advertisements for real life brands in the game. This includes vehicles of real brands, but also straight up billboards advertising a real brand.
