BattleCore Arena
Microtransactions in BattleCore Arena are summarized as...
Many different microtransactions can be purchased. These range from character skins, profile customization, victory poses, emotes, to XP Boosts, and far more. To purchase these you need to purchase the premium currency, Kaps. Kaps come in packs similar to other games, where 1000 Kaps equals roughly 10 USD. Cosmetics are quite expensive, with some options costing as much as 3000 Kaps, requiring the purchase of the 35 USD Kaps pack.
Cosmetics can not be purchased directly, they are available either in bundles or in a timed rotational store.
Some cosmetics can be earned for free through a mastery system. You can level up each weapon and ability by using them in-game, level up the progression track of each item, all offering unique rewards, as well as some premium currency. This is fairly limited in scope.
The game offers a battle pass with a free and a premium track. The premium track offers 50 reward levels and costs 1000 Kaps, or roughly 10 USD. Levels can be purchased for additional Kaps. The battle pass does not earn enough Kaps to purchase the next one.
The game offers 2 special editions, both called the Founders Pack.
- The first, costing roughly 15 USD, grants a bunch of cosmetic and a token for a premium battle pass.
- The second, costing roughly 30 USD, grants the same as the previous, but with some additional cosmetics as well as an additional token for premium battle pass pass.
Both of these packs are only available during the Early Access period.
BattleCore Arena is a game rooted in microtransactions, with all content being centered around them. Cosmetics are expensive, and their quality is questionable.
