Assassins's Creed Shadows

Microtransactions in Assassins's Creed Shadows are summarized as...

The game, while singleplayer, offers a Premium store. To purchase items in this store you need to purchase a premium currency named "Helix Credits". These are purchased in bundles that never match any items and are often just slightly smaller than the cost of the items themselves, forcing you to purchase a larger bundle. For instance; One item might cost 1350 Helix Credits, but bundles come in 1050 and 2300. You will need to purchase the 2300 bundle, leaving you with a large amount of Helix Credits left over.
Some items, such as pets, are cosmetic only, while others, such as weapon and armor, do grant boons in the form of better stats and effects. While equally strong items can be earned through regular play, being able to purchase them gives you a significant advantage while playing.

Some items are bought through a rotating store, rotating both weekly and daily, with different items in both categories. Other items are available through bundles along. These bundles include weapon and armor sets, pets, mounts, and hideout packs. Additionally the game offers utility items, such as map packs, and even in-game non-premium currency.

The game offers a system similar to battle passes, allowing you to earn rewards through a leveling system. As of right now these passes are free and don't require a purchase. They offer cosmetics, utility items, and weapons and more, as well as some quantity of the premium currency.

The game can be purchased in two versions, the base game and the Deluxe Edition. The deluxe edition grants additional in-game items such as cosmetics, mounts, weapons, and armor. Additionally it grants mastery point, which are used to unlock skills in the skill tree.

Pre-ordering the game granted access to a special quest line. If previous Ubisoft releases are an indicator, this quest line will later be available as a separate purchase.
