The game offers a Deluxe Edition for an additional 10 USD which grants access to additional costumes, weapons, trinkets, and perks, as well as a unique ship cosmetics. These are not purely cosmetic, some alter gameplay in small ways.
The game offers a large set of DLC packs on launch, totaling roughly 85 USD. This includes 4 character packs which granting costumes, weapons, trinkets and perk, and 4 ship packs, this is similar to what the Deluxe edition grants in terms of content but all packs are separate from that.
An additional DLC pack grants access to a map which reveals secrets, keys, lore items, and more. These would normally be found through regular gameplay but this map makes them easier to find.
The game contains a Battle Pass like system which rewards cosmetic and non-cosmetic items. This is free and no paid track is available. Progression is made through completing in-game challenges. These Battle Passes are not timed exclusives.
